Holiday Toy Drive

Prepare for the holidays by clearing out your old toys and giving to a good cause at the same time! 

November 15-December 10


Here's what you do:
  1. Clean out your kid's toy bin. Here are some tips on how to go about it. 
  2. Drop off any toys (including the well-loved and broken ones) to Gracie's Ice Cream in Union Square.
  3. Eat ice cream! 
Here's what we do:
  1. Sort through all the toys. 
  2. Give the new and gently used toys to Solutions at Work. 
  3. Recycle any broken plastic toys through Somerville recycling program. 
  4. Eat ice cream! 
We are collecting these toys for ages newborn to 12 years old:
Educational toys, stuffed animals and dolls, action figures, cars and trucks, dress up clothes and Halloween costumes, puzzles and board games, DVD and VHS movies and books. 

Toys will be donated to Solutions at Work based in Cambridge. Their Children's Clothing exchange program allows homeless and low-income parents to trade their children's outgrown items for age-appropriate clothing, toys and books.

  • Toy Drive runs from November 15-December 10
  • Drop off at Gracie's Ice Cream and receive 1 free upgrade (like a fluff cone or fudge) for your order. 
  • If you can't make it to Gracie's, contact Holly to arrange for a pick-up. (910-734-6977)
